  • Wheel alignment

Do you find yourself fighting with your car, trying to keep it driving straight? It keeps pulling to the left or right. Maybe you’ve noticed unusual wear on your tyres. Chances are, your car needs a wheel alignment. A wheel alignment adjusts the wheels so that they’re set to your car’s unique specification – set by the maker, such as Toyota.
If your car is having trouble driving without pulling, it’ll prematurely age your tyres – and cost you money. In fact, you’ll spend more on petrol – as the wheels cause more friction. At Goodyear Tyre and Auto, we perform wheel alignments every day. Our experts use the latest in alignment equipment, to analyse your car’s important alignment angles – and convert them back into specification again.

  • How often should I take my car in for a wheel alignment?

There is no one-size-fit-all answer to this. Some cars hold their alignment well – and others drift without cause. Potholes and curbs are the killer.
With a car that holds its alignment well, we’d recommend aligning your wheels every time you replace your tyres. If something doesn’t look or feel right, then get them aligned.
If your car pulls more often, consider aligning your wheels every 2 years – or 15,000 kilometres. Again, checking for tyre wear is most important. Bring your car into see us at your local Goodyear shop, in Hampstead Gardens, if you’re unsure.
