Modbury is a suburb to Adelaide's north East. Modbury includes Modbury North and is bordered by adjoining suburbs of Holden Hills and Ingle Farm. It was given its name Modbury on the 1st of September 1840.
According to the 2011 Census, Modbury had a population of 4,638 and Modbury Heights had a population of 5,601.
There are several schools within the suburbs, like Modbury high School and the Primary School, called Modbury West.
The cities of Modbury fall within the Tea Tree Gully council area.
